Preconstruction & Design Assist

We prepare progressive cost estimates, schedules, and permitting strategies while proactively addressing challenges such as labor or material shortages and long-lead procurement. Combined with early trade involvement, these efforts lay the foundation for a seamless transition into construction.
Schedule
At Intermountain Construction, we deliver superior schedule performance on every project. As soon as we are selected, we begin developing a critical path method (CPM) schedule using proven techniques and advanced software. When brought in early, we can incorporate all design and procurement activities into the schedule—an essential tool for managing A/E efforts and ensuring a smooth transition into construction.
Budget Control
Intermountain Construction closely tracks labor and material pricing to deliver accurate cost estimates from the earliest design phases. As designs progress, we provide updated estimates to keep owners and designers fully informed and aligned with budget goals.

Careful management of both design and field operations minimizes costly change orders.
